High Dan Board Testing Panel: All of us were Shito-ryu Karate-Do budoka but of different branches (I think).  I only expected roughly 3-4 pre-chosen examiners, but I had put out an "all-call" for whomever wanted to show support. Was a great surprise, but it made the examinees extremely nervous.

What's nice about this photo is that we trained under the same sensei, the late Tola (Toby) E. Lewis, Jr. of the Elizabeth City School of Karate, which no longer exists as an operating dojo.
